Online Gerber Viewer

A free online Gerber viewer that opens and renders PCB manufacturing files directly in your browser. Drag in your Gerber and drill files (or a ZIP) to inspect copper, solder mask, silkscreen and drill layers before you send a board to fabrication. No sign-up, no software to install.

What is a Gerber viewer?

A Gerber viewer reads the image files a PCB design tool exports (the Gerber RS-274X format, plus Excellon drill files) and draws each manufacturing layer so you can visually check the board that will actually be built. It is the last sanity check between your EDA software and the fab: layer alignment, missing layers, drill positions, board outline and clearances. See what a Gerber file is for the format basics.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Gerber viewer free?

Yes. It is free to use, with no account and no installation required.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Files are parsed locally in your browser, so your design data stays on your device.

Which formats can it open?

Gerber RS-274X image layers and Excellon drill files, individually or as a ZIP of the full board release.

Can it open Eagle .brd or other native PCB files?

No — those are native design files. Export them to Gerber from your EDA tool first, then view the Gerber output here.
